Our national grid is a topic of great conversation lately and for good reason. It is woefully outdated and analog. There is amazing science and engineering research being done to figure out how to add alternative power generation sources to the mix, decentralize the generation centers, and to create a two way interconnected grid. These are all vital to our nation's future and this map is a great way to visualize our current state.
